Ewen McDonald

Director & Osteopath

Ewen is the founder of Remedium Wellness, which he established in 2021 during his final year at university. Since then, he has grown the clinic into a thriving multidisciplinary practice, now operating across both Worcester and London.

As Clinical Director, Ewen leads the team while continuing his own clinical work. His approach to Osteopathy is evidence-based and rooted in a structural methodology, focusing on accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and long-term patient outcomes. Ewen is passionate about combining hands-on care with tailored advice to help patients move better, recover faster, and maintain their health.

Joel Tett

Osteopath

Joel - Joel is a structural Osteopath whose interest stems from his involvement in extreme sports, and the positive effects therapy can have on performance whilst competing, as well as after retirement!

Physical structure and its relationship with daily function plays a large role in Joel's approach to treatment, leading to a holistic approach to recovery!

Joel is a keen motorcyclist, and competes at the enduro discipline in national and international competitions!

Andris Luste

Osteopath

 

Andris is widely recognised for his meticulous and methodical approach to his profession. He consistently employs a structural Osteopathic methodology, which ensures that his practice remains systematic and firmly based on the core principles of osteopathy. This dedication to a structured framework allows Andris to deliver reliable and effective results in his field.

Andris’s background has always been closely connected to the world of sports. While pursuing his first degree in Sports Science at Northumbria University, he actively participated in various athletic pursuits. Notably, he played semi-professional volleyball and competed in CrossFit competitions. During this period, he also developed a passion for Olympic weightlifting. In addition to these interests, Andris enjoys hiking, which further reflects his enthusiasm for physical activity and the outdoors.

Andris is passionate about combining hands-on osteopathic techniques with carefully developed long-term rehabilitation plans. He believes this integrated approach is effective for supporting individuals from all backgrounds in restoring the body's natural equilibrium. By working closely with each patient, Andris aims to help them not only recover from injury or discomfort but also maintain an active and balanced lifestyle over time.

Sean Davies

HCPC Registered Physiotherapist (BSc)

Sean is a physiotherapist whose passion for movement began with a love of running and deepened after experiencing firsthand the life-changing impact of rehab.

His own journey through chronic back pain and multiple injuries led him to Remedium Wellness, where treatment helped him return to the activities he loves and inspired him to retrain and earn a degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Worcester.

Sean’s approach is holistic, focusing not just on symptoms but on the wider picture. He incorporates lifestyle, movement, and mindset and how they all play a role in recovery.

Outside the clinic, Sean stays active and enjoys the outdoors. 

Specialists in injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation, helping you recover from sports and everyday injuries while improving performance.

Matt Tristram

Head Sports Therapist (BSc)

Matt is a Sports Therapist from the University of Gloucestershire, and current Osteopathy student. He brings a superb mix of diagnostic ability, hands-on technique and rehabilitation expertise!

Matt has a keen interest in football, having previously worked with Gloucester City FC and Swindon Town FC, his approach to injury rehab is far from one-size-fits-all; prioritising understanding and meeting each patient's unique needs!

Jennifer Higgs

Sports Therapist (BSc)

Jennifer is a Sports Therapist graduating from the University of Worcester.
She has been fortunate to gain experience on a placement abroad with Valencia Basket as well as invaluable experience currently working pitch side and in clinics for Stourport RFC.

Jennifer has an interest in football and currently plays for Worcester City FC Women.

Jennifer has a great passion to help others and a hard working mentality to ensure every individuals needs are accomplished in a professional and friendly manor.

Barney Wooley

Sports Therapist (BSc)

Barney Woolley is a Sports Therapist with a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy from the University of Worcester. He has worked with Malvern Town FC, Malvern College Rugby and is currently Lead Sports Therapist for Worcester City Women’s FC.

Barney brings expertise in musculoskeletal assessment, hands-on treatment and tailored rehabilitation programmes. With a passion for patient-centred care, he’s dedicated to helping each individual recover effectively and return to full function as safely and confidently as possible.

Outside of the clinic, Barney enjoys staying active through the gym, running and playing golf, having a real enthusiasm for all sports

Hannah Pring

Sports Therapist (MSc, BSc)

Hannah is a qualified Sports Therapist with a Master’s degree from London Metropolitan University and a Bachelor’s degree from Brunel University London. Throughout her studies, she gained valuable experience working alongside elite athletes, therapists, trainers, and authors, shaping her evidence-based and well-rounded approach to patient care.

A lifelong netball player, Hannah has competed at a high level, including in the Premiership, and understands first-hand the demands of sport. Her passion for netball and exercise underpins her commitment to helping others recover, perform, and feel their best.

Hannah offers a wide range of therapy modalities, including massage therapy, manual therapy, electrotherapy, taping, and tailored exercise rehabilitation programmes. Whether supporting injury recovery or enhancing sporting performance, her goal is always to improve her patients’ wellbeing and help them get back to doing what they love.

Experts in therapeutic touch and relaxation, offering treatments from pregnancy and sports massage to deep tissue, Swedish, holistic, and cupping therapies. Supporting recovery, easing tension, and restoring balance for both body and mind.

Shareen Ritchie

Holistic Therapist

Shareen is our dedicated holistic therapist, with a background in health and social care and a genuine passion for supporting others. Her own experiences of the physical and emotional benefits of hands-on therapies inspired her to pursue a career in holistic care, where she combines knowledge, skill, and empathy to help patients feel their best.

As part of our integrated wellness team, Shareen runs our holistic and relaxation services on weekends, offering a variety of treatments including deep tissue sports massage, myofascial cupping, and Swedish massage. Each session is tailored to the individual, adjusting both depth and focus to achieve the most effective results for recovery, relaxation, and overall wellbeing.

Focused on movement, strength, and long-term wellbeing through Pilates and exercise rehabilitation. Helping you rebuild mobility, improve posture, and regain confidence in your body.

Emma Carpenter

Pilates Instructor

Emma Carpenter is a Pilates Teacher, Rehab Coach and specialist in Intrinsic Biomechanics. After nearly 30 years in teaching and sports coaching, Emma retrained in 2016 to follow her passion for movement, inspired by her own recovery from years of injury as an amateur jump jockey. Guided by expert rehabilitation and Pilates, she rebuilt her body, going on to complete two full Ironman events in her 40s and the Marathon des Sables in 2022.

At Remedium, Emma brings this experience to help others ‘Be At Their Best’—supporting clients to move with greater balance, strength and confidence, whatever challenges they face. With nine years of clinical and coaching experience, she works closely with her network of professionals when needed, and is passionate about teaching people to understand their bodies, improve functional movement, and make lasting changes that carry into everyday life.
